Concert Band

Teacher Approval Required
This is the performance-based band at Rockledge High School.  Music difficulty is in the III & IV grade level.  In addition to the development of basic performance techniques, students are exposed to an in-depth study of music elements in order to develop their aesthetic sensibilities.  Participants are required to be apart of marching band unless cleared by director. Extra rehearsals and performances are required.

Wind Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble

Teacher approval Required
This is the performance-based class at Rockledge High School.  In this class students will have the opportunity to play and learn different styles like Latin, Reggae, jazz, and classical all while playing in a large ensemble down to solo work.  In addition to the development of basic performance techniques, students are exposed to an in-depth study of each percussion instrument and learn about different professional players.  Participants are required to be apart of marching band unless cleared by director. Extra rehearsals and performances are required.
