Rockledge High Instrumental Music

Welcome to the homepage of the Rockledge High School Bands & Orchestras.
 
Rockledge High School has seven performing ensembles throughout the year; the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, Jazz Band, Pit Orchestra and the Raider Regiment Marching Band. In addition to full ensemble responsibilities, students also study solo and small ensembles repertoire. Rockledge students perform for their fellow classmates, members of the community, athletic events, and professional adjudication panels in various ensembles.
 
Members of the Rockledge High School music program are held to the highest standard of excellence capable. Through the hard and selfless work of students, parents, and staff, as well as the generosity and support of the community and administration, the Rockledge High School music program is providing an opportunity for students to have a well-rounded music education, make lifelong friendships, develop lifelong skills and experiences, and have a positive impact on the world around them.

Summer Vacation!
The performance of Pomp & Circumstance marks the final performance of the 2011-2012 school year. While one year comes to a close, another is right around the corner, so use enjoy the time off with family & friends. 

Next Parent Meeting is June 5
We will be spending the majority of time in this meeting reviewing the bylaws of the RHS Band Boosters, Inc. Members of the Boosters are reviewing our bylaws line-by-line and identifying sections that need to be brought up to date.


It's May. What Do I Need to Know About Band Camp!?!?!?
Go check the dates on the calendar, and make sure you have those dates open. In the meantime, go have fun. We'll get you all the information you'll ever need for camp shortly after school lets out.
