The music program at Rockledge strives to maintain a balanced program in all facets of music education, including the development of the individual musician. Over the years, the Rockledge Instrumental Music Program has consistently produced excellent musicians who are in demand by colleges and universities throughout the Southeast and many parts of the country. Awards and recognition’s come often to the music program as a whole, as well as individual member. Numerous superior medals are awarded to Rockledge students at the Solo and Ensemble Festival each year.

The tradition of excellence held by the Rockledge High School Instrumental Music Program developed through the hard work and dedication of past members and directors. The program continues now through the hard work and dedication of our present directors and musicians! The high school music experience is a unique one and one that you will surely enjoy. The Rockledge Instrumental Music Program is truly one-of-a-kind. We feel strongly that every student should be given a positive environment in which to achieve.
